Major Latin American Mobile Operator Entrusts Comba Telecom's Wireless DAS Solution For Its Corporate Offices

HONG KONG, May 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited ("Comba Telecom" or "the Group", Hong Kong stock code: 2342), a global leading wireless solutions provider, announced it has been selected by a leading mobile operator group in Latin America to provide the wireless network infrastructure for mobile coverage at the operator's corporate offices in Argentina.

The solution deployed enables a robust wireless experience for users in the offices and includes Comba Telecom's latest generation of the ComFlex DAS ("Distributed Antenna System"). The ComFlex DAS covers triband 1900MHz / AWS with automatic upgrades to 850MHz.

At the same time, Comba Telecom announced two further project wins for Argentina: it will be deploying indoor wireless systems at the Ministro Pistarini International Airport in Ezeiza and the Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires. Both projects will feature the ComFlex DAS and similar to other successful deployments by Comba Telecom around the world, the installed systems will have multi-band, multi-operator functionality allowing cost sharing and infrastructure efficiencies.

In the Latin America region, Comba Telecom's DAS solutions had been deployed at various airports in Mexico and Colombia. Additionally, it was installed in eight of the stadiums that hosted the 2014 tournament in Brazil where the quality of in-stadium communications contributed to the success of the event.
