Comba Successfully Won the Tender of China Mobile’s 4G Picocell Project and MDAS Project as well as Railway Communications Projects in Multiple Cities

(November 6, 2018, Hong Kong) ─ Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba Telecom” or “the Group”, SEHK stock code: 2342), a leading global wireless solutions provider, is pleased to announce the Group has won the tender of Multi-distributed Access System (“MDAS”) centralized procurement project (2018-2019) of China Mobile in the 1st place, and won the tender of 4G Picocell centralized procurement project (2018-2019) of China Mobile in the 2nd place, as well as a number of railway communications projects in multiple cities. 

 

4G Picocell is a new type of 4G indoor cellular coverage solutions that can quickly enhance the cellular network coverage and capacity. It can be widely used in mid-small sized indoor scenarios such as office buildings, commercial complex, guest houses, hotels, small stores, and restaurants, etc. The 4G Picocell tender includes two standard tender packages –singular and dual carrier integrated Picocell, and the extended Picocell, the Group won the tender with the bidding shares of 19.6% and 15.9%, respectively, and a contract sum of over RMB100 million.

 

In addition, the group has also been successful in other projects. In October, the Group won the tender of MDAS project (2018-2019) of China Mobile with the share of 21.1% and a contract sum of approximate RMB100 million. From September to October, the Group won tenders of railway communications projects in multiple cities (i.e, Nanning, Xiamen, Hangzhou, and Wuhu, etc.) with a total contract sum of over RMB100 million.
