Appoints industry veteran Augustin Chang as president of R&D operations
LAS VEGAS USA, March 31st , 2006 - Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba” or the “Group”, HKSE stock code: 2342) announced today the official launch of its office in Santa Clara, California to bring its solutions to North American wireless carriers at the CTIA Wireless 2006 conference in Las Vegas between 5-7 April.
As one of the world’s largest providers of RF subsystems and indoor coverage solutions, the new office reflects the significance of the North America region to Comba’s business development. Incorporated under the Comba Telecom Inc. entity, the new office will eventually provide a comprehensive suite of solutions to customers with R&D, sales, technical and support functions to fully address the opportunity.
In the same announcement, Comba has appointed Augustin Chang as President of its North America R&D operations. Chang is an industry veteran of over 20 years and has written numerous papers and articles on RF technologies.
