Winning DAS Solutions on Display at Mobile World Congress 2013, Barcelona

(25 February 2013, Hong Kong)  -Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba Telecom” or “the Group”, Hong Kong stock code: 2342), a global leading wireless solutions provider, announced it has been awarded a number of projects to supply wireless distributed antenna systems (DAS) at stadiums hosting the 2013 Confederations Cup and 2014 World Cup football tournaments to be held in Brazil.

Comba Telecom is supplying and installing a series end-to-end solution that comprises of multi-operator, multi-band DAS, repeaters, indoor and outdoor antennas and accessories to enable ubiquitous wireless voice and data communications on iDEN, 2G, 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi networks. With the completion of Comba Telecom’s shared wireless system, Brazil’s mobile operators will be able to offer subscribers a seamless and robust experience on their mobile devices with high data throughput at the sporting venues which has an audience capacity of up to 70,000.

Comba Telecom is enabling wireless communications at the following venues: Estádio Nacional de Brasília (formerly known as Estádio Mané Garrincha) in Brasilia, Arena Octávio Mangabeira (also known as Arena Fonte Nova) in Salvador, and Estádio Castelão in Fortaleza. In addition, Comba Telecom is supplying products and solutions to the main wireless systems contractor for Arena Pernambuco in Recife.
